Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame
The Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame & Museum has honored and inducted more than 65 individuals or groups, produced more than 40 concerts and has educated generations of Oklahomans about the innovators and industry icons from the Sooner State who shaped the music industry from within state borders and beyond.
In 1996, the Oklahoma State Legislature designated Muskogee as the site for the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame & Museum. Since that date, this hall of fame has celebrated the Oklahoma music industry and the diverse musical talent that calls the Sooner State home. Oklahoma has its roots firmly planted in music. In good times and in tough times, music has always contributed to the quality of life of Oklahomans.
On nearly an annual basis since 1997, the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame has honored some of the world’s most notable talents whose gifts and musical styles are as breathtaking and diverse as the Oklahoma landscape. Inductees include acclaimed musicians, singers, actors and groups like Woody Guthrie, Vince Gill, Carrie Underwood, Kristin Chenoweth and many more. Come celebrate and applaud the inductees and share in the rich musical history of Oklahoma at the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame in Muskogee.
