CIVITAN PARK

Daniel Boone’s son, Nathan, originally surveyed this 43-acre hillside park across the street from the Oklahoma School for the Blind. The eastern boundary of the park is the boundary of the Cherokee and Creek Nations. Amenities include a concrete trail loop that is .8 mile in length and is the meeting place for many regular park patrons. An 18 hole disc golf course is open to the public at no charge. There are picnic areas, playgrounds, open play areas, and a historic shelter that is available by reservation.
Civitan Community Garden is on-site, as well as an indoor building available for rentals
