Come find out, or at least join the discussion and the adventure as SETA Movie Club presents Rob Reiner’s 1986 classic coming-of-age drama 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙈𝙚 on Saturday, March 14 at the Roxy Theater!
Rob Reiner adapted Stephen King’s novella 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐵𝑜𝑑𝑦 into what has become recognized as one of the greatest films to come out of the Eighties. Starring Wil Wheaton, River Phoenix, Corey Feldman, and Jerry O’Connell, it tells the story of four boys in the summer of 1959 as they journey into the woods surrounding their town in an attempt to see a dead body. The boys confront their feelings about growing up, the world around them, and their own mortality as they have one last innocent adventure together.
Moving, charming, poignant, and rated R for language, you won’t want to miss it as we come together again to honor the life and career of Rob Reiner and watch 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙈𝙚.
